The recently released Nikon Coolpix P80 integrates 10.1 megapixels of resolution with an amazing 18x (27mm-486mm) Zoom-Nikkor lens capability for optimal picture quality and prints of jaw-dropping proportions, up to 20 x 30 inches!
Camera shakiness is not an issue with VR picture stabilization for the crispest pictures. Capturing and sharing images is simpler than ever before with the vivid 2.7-inch sharp LCD and electronic viewfinder.
Menu options for Program, Aperture Priority, Shutter Priority and Manual Exposure provide individual control of camera function, while the recently added Sports Continuous menu option allows photographers to shoot as many as 30 images at, incredibly, as much as 13 FPS!

‘A Superb User-Friendly Multi-Use Camera’
The Nikon Coolpix P80 is the perfect camera for professionals looking for a camera with zoom capacity and efficiency combined with the ability to be used at a moment’s notice. I recently purchased this camera and have used it for many different projects and just love it for these qualities. It’s a point and shoot camera that can be used by one hand. It produces image quality similar to a heavier, more bulky camera. And the best part is that it’s a small, easy to use, intuitive camera!
‘ Excellent, Just Excellent’
We only recently purchased this Nikon Coolpix P80, and as beginners we discovered it to be simple to operate. The guide that accompanied this camera offered terrific suggestions, and the camera’s integrated instructions are really useful. This past weekend we tried it out for the first time at our childrens’ soccer matches, and the pictures we captured are AWESOME!!! Even the action shots aren’t blurry, and are crisp and up close. We really like the sports setting, which let us zoom in on images afterwards to view them with finer detail. The battery stands up well, even after the 280 pictures we took in a single day!
‘Well Worth the Money’
I needed a camera that performed both in large stadiums and arenas as well as in small theaters and concert halls. I purchased the Nikon Coolpix P80, and it worked well for both applications! Before using it I did extensive research about how best to capture high quality images. However, it turned out that the automatic setting produced great quality pictures without having to program specific settings. This camera had the capacity to zoom in tight and to capture every detail of an image. I was able to use it without wasting time setting up a shot which allowed me to enjoy the event rather than concentrating on the camera.
