Olympus SP-565UZ 10MP Digital Camera

With the introduction of the re-engineering of Olympus’ powerhorse ultra zoom SP-570 UZ model, the brand new Olympus SP-565 Ultra Zoom lost none of its predecessor’s capabilities, while shedding its bulkier body. This more compact camera shares its predecessor’s high-quality 20x (26-520mm) wide-angle telephoto zoom capacity, and adds the effortless operation of point-and-shoot photography.

Anyone looking for portability and ease of use will appreciate this camera’s redesign, and its 10-megapixels of resolution along with dual image stabilization for crispest pictures demonstrate that with the Olympus SP-565 UZ, smaller is indeed sometimes better!

What others are saying:

‘Great for sports shots’
The reason I purchased this Olympus SP-565UZ camera was expressly for capturing shots of my kids’ baseball games and to compile a scrapbook for their little league team. I found this camera to be simple to operate, with features that enable me to take exactly the pictures I want. Using the sports mode, I can snap pictures with no waiting, and by depressing the button, I’m able to take more than one picture, which is a real plus when I’m trying to capture a shot of a player sliding in to score. The results I’ve gotten with this camera are totally satisfying.

‘Pleased with my purchase – would recommend’
The Olympus SP-565UZ has a lot of features and I’m learning how to use them. I’m still learning how to optimize all the features (like the panorama, super close-up, and others). To practice I took some shots of my dog, and they came out much better than when I used my old camera. There is a video feature on this camera that is great, and the 13.5 fps sequential shooting makes capturing detailed events easy. I’m excited to take the camera outside when the temperature warms to see how it performs.

‘ Worth every penny!’
Having children usually means many different sports activities. Therefore, I searched for a camera with a sequential shooting feature that would be able to capture action shots of my kids. After searching for the perfect camera, I decided on the Olympus SP-565UZ. One of the features is 13 frames per second and 1.5 frames per second, but I have found using the 7 frames per second function is best for the action shots I’m looking for. There are many other funtions this camera has that even a beginner can use. All in all I have been very satisfied with my purchase.
