‘Excellent quality & price’

‘A terrific pocket camera’
I got this SD1100IS model as a backup camera for taking on trips. I already own a bigger digital model that I use for artistic, studio photography and for its zoom capability for taking landscape pictures. But I found this Canon PowerShot to be every bit as nice. Be sure to attach a strap to let you pop this 1100 in your pocket and you’re ready for anything. This compact camera is so versatile – twilight images I took in Philly recently turned out terrific. The macro mode is effective as well – getting fine details on floral pictures is a breeze.

I have a lot of experience with digital cameras and this is the best one I have ever used. The picture quality is excellent and the flash works when you want it to with no delay. The Canon 590 is the most amazing camera! I always got shaky pictures with other digital cameras. But this one has a built-in image stabilizer that gives me perfect pictures from any distance. I have used it to take close ups of books to show on a computer monitor and you can read every word. The movie mode works great too. I prefer point and shoot but if you want to change settings you can do that too.
