I got this SD1100IS model as a backup camera for taking on trips. I already own a bigger digital model that I use for artistic, studio photography and for its zoom capability for taking landscape pictures. But I found this Canon PowerShot to be every bit as nice. ‘ Excellent, Just Excellent’
We only recently purchased this Nikon Coolpix P80, and as beginners we discovered it to be simple to operate. The guide that accompanied this camera offered terrific suggestions, and the camera’s integrated instructions are really useful. This past weekend we tried it out for the first time at our childrens’ soccer matches, and the pictures we captured are AWESOME!!! Even the action shots aren’t blurry, and are crisp and up close. ‘Well Worth the Money’
I needed a camera that performed both in large stadiums and arenas as well as in small theaters and concert halls. I purchased the Nikon Coolpix P80, and it worked well for both applications! Before using it I did extensive research about how best to capture high quality images. However, it turned out that the automatic setting produced great quality pictures without having to program specific settings. This camera had the capacity to zoom in tight and to capture every detail of an image. ‘Great little camera!’
My new Nikon is a fantastic camera! I was using a 5mp Canon PowerShot, which worked fine, but the Nikon had a great stabilization feature, which I loved. Also the multi-face recognition is remarkable, as it even will let you know if someone’s eyes are closed! In my profession as an Art Director I have now used the Nikon for several projects, instead of using the professional digital camera available in the office. ‘awesome purchase’
I was going to Bermuda on a cruise and so I purchased a new Sony camera. I had never had a Sony before and I hoped for the best. I have to say I am thrilled with this camera! The pictures were beautiful and clear. In the beginning some of the pictures involving motion were a bit fuzzy, but as I took additional pictures each one improved. I purchased a 4gb memory card, which allowed for over 1000 pictures. During my cruise I took 400 pictures and I am delighted with them. Sony is a very good camera and now they have a loyal customer. ‘Excellent camera’
Having just recently purchased my new Olympus FE370, I can already report that it makes an ideal point and shoot camera. With its effective auto mode, you get fantastic shots with a minimum of adjustments to make (just ISO, White Balance and Exposure), and even without manual focus or shutter speed controls, you don’t sacrifice picture quality. You can really hone in close on your subject using the super macro feature. The FE370’s battery is long-lasting too, holding a charge on the first use even after loading the built-in memory (with mostly flash images) and looking over our shots repeatedly. ‘Exceeded My Expectations’
What’s not to love about this feather-light, compact camera? This Olympus FE370 captures fantastic shots indoors and out, and includes a number of scene and image settings, along with a real winner in its “behind the glass” mode. With this setting, I’ve managed to obtain some terrific photos from behind a window looking out. The audio functions well when you are recording video and when you play it back too. Although Olympus utilizes XD cards, this model luckily includes an adapter that lets you choose micro SD/SDHC cards for a lot less money.

‘Superb Point-and-Shoot’
Sony’s DSC-T700 is the greatest camera I’ve tried for easy picture taking. There isn’t any wait interval for your first picture, even with a high resolution. The big display screen is plain to see despite the brightest light outside, and even with the great number of settings, the controls on the touch screen are easy to figure out. The pictures you take are always sharp, even using the zoom at full power, or if you happen to be a little shaky. The slide-shut feature is a real advantage to avoid getting the lens scratched or accidentally switching the settings when you drop the camera into your pocket. Even my less than tech-savvy wife loves this camera for its simplicity in taking pictures.

I am in love with this camera! It reacts fast, there are a lot of easy to use features and the small size is really handy. I got a pink neoprene case to match the camera, which I think is awesome. Some neat tricks is the smile shutter function, which waits to take a picture until it recognizes that people are smiling. I’ve found it to be quite accurate and good for group photos. It can also recognize and warn you about people blinking in the shots. There’s even some editing capability such as adding text or graphics, or changing the colors with the camera. There are too many features to mention here, but I will really recommend that you get one and see for yourself.

‘Durable Camera Made for Real Life’
I just love using my new camera, the Olympus 1050. The camera is lightweight and fits into my pocket. Often I wear it around my neck so I can have both hands free. It’s a great camera; there is only one aspect of the camera that I do not care for – it uses batteries very quickly. I’m not sure why, but it seems to use more battery life when I set it on close-ups. I have an extra battery so it’s not a huge problem. I’m not sure how it withstands being dropped, or use during snowy conditions.

‘Pleased with my purchase – would recommend’
The Olympus SP-565UZ has a lot of features and I’m learning how to use them. I’m still learning how to optimize all the features (like the panorama, super close-up, and others). To practice I took some shots of my dog, and they came out much better than when I used my old camera. There is a video feature on this camera that is great, and the 13.5 fps sequential shooting makes capturing detailed events easy. I’m excited to take the camera outside when the temperature warms to see how it performs.

‘ Worth every penny!’
Having children usually means many different sports activities. Therefore, I searched for a camera with a sequential shooting feature that would be able to capture action shots of my kids. After searching for the perfect camera, I decided on the Olympus SP-565UZ. One of the features is 13 frames per second and 1.5 frames per second, but I have found using the 7 frames per second function is best for the action shots I’m looking for. There are many other funtions this camera has that even a beginner can use. All in all I have been very satisfied with my purchase.
