‘ Great camera for the money’
Although I am an amateur photographer I feel this is an excellent camera. I feel it is the best value DSLR for your money. After trying the D300, Canon EOS40D and Olympus E3 I decided on this camera. It takes amazing photographs! The low light performance is fantastic and worth buying the camera for alone. Now when I take photographs of people I don’t see faces that are too brightly lit or squinty! It does also take videos, which can be a fun thing to do, but quality of the photographs is where this camera really stands above the rest.

‘ Epic leap forward’
I am so glad I upgraded from a D40x to a D90. The picture quality and high ISO settings are what sets it apart. Even shooting at ISO 1600 on the new camera looks better than the ISO 800 on the D40x. You can set controls with a single button. The D90 has an internal focus motor that can be used to auto focus my 50mm/fl.8 lens too!

‘Another outstanding Rebel offering’
Some people think this is a beginner dSLR. They are so wrong! The image is far better than Canon’s $1,300 semi professional 40D model. Many of the more expensive models include featurs that are only slightly convenient. This camera and I took many professional quality pictures. ‘Excellent quality & price’
The automatic settings have given me pictures that I could never imagine would be possible. The Shutter Speed and Continuous shooting function make sure I will never miss a fast action picture. The battery life is extended beyond any other I have used and it will take hundreds of pictures on one charge. As a starter camera, you can find none better.
