‘ Great camera for the money’
Although I am an amateur photographer I feel this is an excellent camera. I feel it is the best value DSLR for your money. After trying the D300, Canon EOS40D and Olympus E3 I decided on this camera. It takes amazing photographs! The low light performance is fantastic and worth buying the camera for alone. Now when I take photographs of people I don’t see faces that are too brightly lit or squinty! It does also take videos, which can be a fun thing to do, but quality of the photographs is where this camera really stands above the rest.

‘ Epic leap forward’
I am so glad I upgraded from a D40x to a D90. The picture quality and high ISO settings are what sets it apart. Even shooting at ISO 1600 on the new camera looks better than the ISO 800 on the D40x. You can set controls with a single button. The D90 has an internal focus motor that can be used to auto focus my 50mm/fl.8 lens too!

‘One week in- A cool little camera’
I bought a new camera so that I could take pictures at my nephew’s wedding where my three granddaughters were flower girls. Out of the 200 picture that I took that weekend, I only had to trash five of them. This camera is IDIOT proff, small, cute, and takes terrific photos. This is very little lag time between takes and it lets you know if someone is NOT smiling (do you hear me mom?). ‘The Camera I waited for!’
I’ve been looking for the right digital camera for a long time. I am so glad I found this camera. The price was even lower than I expected. I really like this camera and the wonderful pictures it takes. The pictures are excellant the the camera size makes it very convenient to use. The one thing I don’t like is that changing the battery is more difficult than I would like, but it is a small inconvenience for this great camera.

‘Great little camera!’
My new Nikon is a fantastic camera! I was using a 5mp Canon PowerShot, which worked fine, but the Nikon had a great stabilization feature, which I loved. Also the multi-face recognition is remarkable, as it even will let you know if someone’s eyes are closed! In my profession as an Art Director I have now used the Nikon for several projects, instead of using the professional digital camera available in the office. I highly recommend this camera, it is outstanding! You will not be disappointed.

‘ Excellent, Just Excellent’
We only recently purchased this Nikon Coolpix P80, and as beginners we discovered it to be simple to operate. The guide that accompanied this camera offered terrific suggestions, and the camera’s integrated instructions are really useful. This past weekend we tried it out for the first time at our childrens’ soccer matches, and the pictures we captured are AWESOME!!! Even the action shots aren’t blurry, and are crisp and up close. We really like the sports setting, which let us zoom in on images afterwards to view them with finer detail. The battery stands up well, even after the 280 pictures we took in a single day!

‘Well Worth the Money’
I needed a camera that performed both in large stadiums and arenas as well as in small theaters and concert halls. I purchased the Nikon Coolpix P80, and it worked well for both applications! Before using it I did extensive research about how best to capture high quality images. However, it turned out that the automatic setting produced great quality pictures without having to program specific settings. This camera had the capacity to zoom in tight and to capture every detail of an image. I was able to use it without wasting time setting up a shot which allowed me to enjoy the event rather than concentrating on the camera.
